I was adopted at 3 days old by way of Catholic Family Charities. I was born in Hampton Roads and raised in Richmond VA. I was informed at the age of 6 (1981) that I was adopted. Ironically in 1994 I was granted the opportunity to attend Hampton University and continue at Old dominion University to solidify my foundation in education. I accepted a call to ministry and birthed Change Your Mindset LLC 2014. Our mission is to help others change their outlooks to change outcomes. I have served in multiple professional positions and presented professional developments on a district, regional, and state level. In 2018 I was able to find identifying information and connect with my biological family. My goal is to assist others in starting and walking their healing journey. 

I was adopted at birth but didn't discover it until I was 37. My passion is to assist others in finding acceptance and reconciliation with the emotional aspects of adoption. Born and raised in New Jersey, I attended Hampton University and was married for 14 years with three kids before learning about my adoption. I connected with my biological family in 2012 and it has been a journey of realization, acceptance and healing. Along with co hosting , I am also the Co-founder of LITUS a non profit,  marriage and family mentoring services, holding a Certification in Christian Leadership and Ministry. The mission is aim to strengthen marriages, in turn supporting children and fostering community strength.
